- Connect your smart phone, smart TV, game console to Wifi hot spot.
- All traffic from your smart phones or PC on the go will be encrypted and go via the VPN tunnel to your VPN server at home.
- Provide Secure WiFi Access to your smart phones
Not every place that you have internet access offers WiFi access to your smart phone/tablet for leisure use.
You can use this product to create a temporary WiFi access for your smart phone. The beauty of this Wifi hot spot is, all your WiFi traffic are going through encrypted VPN tunnel to your home VPN server which access internet for you.
The main benefit are,
a. Your privacy is fully protected. Guest network cannot monitor your smart phone activity.
b. Your smart phone is virtually separated from guest network. Because of VPN tunnel, no traffic from your smart phone would leak into guest network. This adds peace of mind to guest network administrator. You don't need to worry that you would create vulnerability to guest network if your smart phone is infected by malware/virus, etc.
There are websites that limit access from within certain IP block (e.g. from within the country). You may have set up VPN server well and your PC can install VPN client software and therefore can access those websites well. However, your smart TV, game console etc. don't allow you to install VPN client software. This VPN client device solve the problem.
Simply connect your application specific devices (smart TV, game console, etc) to VPN client WiFi hotspot. They can access the target website via VPN tunnel without a problem.
3. Even if your application specific devices only support Ethernet. No problem
Your smart TV, game console may not have WiFi capability. That's not a problem. Simply add a USB-to-Ethernet adapter to this VPN client device. All traffic coming in this USB-to-Ethernet adapter will go through VPN tunnel, too.
